I need your help!
Im making a couple short films for my finals this semester! (including the victory roll video I keep getting request for)
And I need music!
Do you have a band? Are you a musician?
Send me a link with some of your work!
If I use any of your music, you will be credited, and I will make you your very own music video
I haven’t posted in a couple days.
My town was hit by that massive snow storm, and getting back to routine has been a challenge.
My school was pretty much the only one not to shut down for the week.
I had to miss school because it was impossible to get in.
Toss in that its Valentine’s day, my store’s busiest day, a runway show in two weeks, and my drive by vacation this weekend,
It’s been a rush.
Hello! Do any of you know of any good shows coming to Connecticut?
My winter line up is looking pretty dead!
I’m alright with local band suggestions too! Just send me a link to some of their music!
One if my best friend’s father runs the nutmeg miattia club. He was in the race, so they all showed up in force!
Seriously, the nicest group of guys I’ve ever met.
My boyfriend is s vw guy. I took him to the clubs fireworks this year.
Everyone was super friendly, and man do those guys know how to party.
Steven told me it was one of the first time he had been around car guys who didn’t treat him like “the black guy”
Car people can be jerks to anyone who aren’t old white guys.
But the miattia club people rock!
And the Cannon Ball run is also a giant charity for tracking down missing children.
My dad wanted to take my whippet and his German shepard to the dog park.
Okay, so reservations. My whippet is skitish as shit and an escape artist to boot.
But what the hell? I kept her on her leash for a bit. She seemed alright with the other dogs, so I cut her loose.
I was really proud of her. She wasn’t real social, she still Hung back a lot. But she played and her tail wagged non stop.
So after a few hours she had this routine of running up to the new dogs and greeting them. She’s in her comfort zone with the new dog being on a lead, while she can get away easier because she’s not on a lead.
It’s a big dog park, and we were there with my dads dog also. So I kept an eye on ally, but let her do her own thing.
A new dog walks in, and I watch the same scene play out from across the park. A women and daughter with a pomeranian.
She has a little coat that said national champion.
(this was a theme. We went to a new haven dog park. I kept hearing “prize winner” and “I have two actually, but I only show trixie because her coat is softer” I also met a women with a yorkie that had a gps tracking unit strapped to its neck. When I chatted her up she told me it was in case she was stolen, the police could track him down.
There is just to much crazy in that explanation to even touch it.
So its these champions of their breed, and my skinny little ally, the dog I take take black and white pictures of looking sad, and tag Felice fawn and Thinspo)
So my dog books out to greet the pom, and I swear to grace Jones, I thought I was seeing things when the daughter hit ally.
I started walking forward and saw her do it again.
An old lady with a dog/horse told her that was not good for either dog. It’s teaching their dog to fear other dogs.
It’s a kid. I can’t scream at a kid right? I mean mollie to internet, I would have scared the fear of grace Jones into her if her mom wasn’t there. But she was, so I have to deal with her.
“hey, its her first time at a dog park. It’s just a test. Is she doing something to bother you?”
“No, we just don’t want dogs around her. She was attacked recently, and she’s tramatized”
“Isnt that the point of the dog park? Having the dogs socialize?”
“Well she still needs her exercise”
“So take her to the regular park”
Good right? I handled that well. Until that little bitch slapped my dog.
“look, if your kid hits my dog again I’m going to kick yours across the parking lot”
We were doing so well. Maybe we could have bought matching twin sets and talked about our unhappy marriages. But she pretty much left after that
All and all, I’d take ally back. She had a ball and so did I.
I got to sit on a picnic table with weird dog people and pet their puppies.
